This is brief outline on how to apply for a GMRS license with the Federal Communicaitons Commission.
You must first register for an FRN (FCC Registration Number) as a Domestic Individual, letting you pay the FCC for the license. Once you receive your FRN, which typically happens moments after submitting the form, you are able login to fill out the online application and purchase your GMRS license. If you have any further questions on a GMRS license or need additional information, please submit a help request online to the FCC Licensing Support Center or call (877) 480-3201. FCC Licensing Support Center is available 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST, weekdays.
You can click the image / link below to download a your temporary call sign permit once you have completed and paid applicaiton to the FCC. This temporary operator permit is valid for 90 days from the date the FCC 605 Main Form and your appropriate fees were submitted to the FCC.
